Baby Blues

I'm not sure what's wrong with me...lately, I've been thinking about my own child. I'm not sure if its because my brother just had a baby, my bestie is preggers, or that everyone around me has children or are about too. I feel like I'm on the outside looking in on something that I want for myself. A FAMILY. It's probably not going to happen anytime soon. I'm not in a place where I feel comfortable bringing a child into this mad world. I also have a feeling that I can't.

Well yesterday I came across this website that combines features of Mom and Dad then it spits out a picture of what your baby would look like.

Meet my lil baby boy. He's soo cute. I sent Jin a picture of him and he said he looks like a lil' pervert. LOL I immediately became all defensive, maybe it was my motherly instincts. I ended up printing a picture of my baby, his name is London, but I'm not sure if I'd actually name my child that. I just needed to name it so that I could save the picture. It's on the fridge; is that creepy? When I put it up I kept looking at it. Walking by and staring at it. Then I had a moment, I just broke down and started crying.

My birthday is around the corner, I'll be 28 and all that keeps popping in my mind is my biological clock. I told myself that if I can't get pregnant by the time I'm 35 then there will be no baby for me. I'm not going to be one of the women that you hear about on the news. You know, MOM 65 has a baby! Nope not gonna be me. I just pray that it will happen before then

Now, I know my baby wouldn't come out looking like that, but its nice to have an idea...

Jin vs. Food

So yesterday I received an email from Fuddruckers. I'm on their email specials list because we eat there for lunch from time to time. I usually get their kids meal; it's a small serving size and you get fries, cookie, and a small drink. The email the subject line reads 5lb. Burger Challenge.


I quickly think of Jin and how we've really have gotten into a show called Man vs. Food on the Travel Channel. The main guy on the show travels the country in search for food challenges.

The episode I enjoyed was the Hot Curry Challenge. I guess these peppers that they use for the curry are so hot the chefs have to wear gas masks while cooking it.


When his challenge starts you can tell he's doing ok and then the pain starts to set in. He starts to sweat and by sweating I mean you see every single bead form while he's eating this. He finishes his bowl of curry and then makes the mistake of using the same napkin he had been using to wipe is mouth with on his eyes! OUCH!! You can clearly see his eyes turn red as they start to water perfusly. I was worried for Adam. I mean he's going to have to shit that out! BURN BABY BURN! LMFAO


I let Jin know about the challenge. The challenge: Finish a 5lb burger in an hour. If you do you get 5 free future meals your picture take and put up on the wall and a T-shirt. So I signed hime up. We'll be at Fuddruckers on Tuesday, February 24 at 6:00pm. I think he's looking forward to having his picture taken if he wins.

I can't wait. I'm going to take video and pictures of him during the process.

Valentine's Day

I think this has to be one of the better Valentine's Day that I've had with Jin. We ended up spending the afernoon with friends.

It's a good place to watch the KU game at. Chin Bo showed up, haven't seen him since the night at his brother's house. Mimi showed up with Les (you'll never guess which college basketball team he played for), and last but not least Helen! I haven't seen her since Rays Luau a couple of years ago.

Jin being the sweetheart that he is got all of us girls chocolate covered strawberries from Russel Stovers. They were so good. I didn't eat mine til the following day. I wanted to be sure I savored the taste.




We ordered 3 dozen oysters, some hot wings, and a bunch of mini burgers. Oh, but we can't forget about the good stuff, Boulevard Wheat beer. This stuff is better than Corona, and I'm a big Corona drinker.

The first half of the KU game was intense! I was happy to see them come back and tie the game by the end of the first half. I was tipsy by this point so you know what happens next, I pull out the camera. Now I'm wishing I hadn't. I look so fat, but I came to the conclusion that its my new hair cut. Yep, I got it cut, but I digress. Did you guy see the part were Clemente fouls Morningstar and they almost get into it or how about the one where he, with 30 seconds left in the game smaks Reed up side his head. LMFAO Who does this kind of shit, K-State player of course. Needless to say KU ends up winning the game. Here's the video of Clemente popping Reed upside his dome!

We ended up at Argosy after the game. When we got there Jin started passing around beers and I can never turn down a drink. LOL Jin should have known better. We get to playing our usual blackjack. I loose in a matter of like 15mins and take my ass to the ATM. Pull out money and start making my way back to the table. As soon as I get there I start looking of the money I just pulled out. I can't find it. I look over at Jin and I was like I just lost 60$. He didn't look surprised cause I'm always losing shit. He told me to retrace my steps. I this point I'm really drunk and I was like, pssssh, I dont think I'll find it I mean we are at the Casino. Low and behold I found it where you might ask? At the bottom of my purse. There it was 3 crispy 20$ bills. LOL Jin cut me off after that.

We got home around 9:30 or so and I took my ass straight to bed.

LINDSEY

Isn't she HOT! I know, as most of my friends are! LOL Well she just found out she's preggers! I know this means so much to her and James! She's going to make a great mommy! You should see her around her neice and nephew.

I met Lindsey through work. I remember thinking she was a total snot and very stuck up! You know she looked like your typical Johnson County girl. But as I got to know her I realized that she's just like me! We both like to work hard, but play harder!

She's the type of friend you'll never have to worry about her telling your business. She'll never judge you! This is why I keep this girl around. She's very blunt and doesn't give a fuck if she says something that might offend you. LOL (Halloween Strippers just came to mind!) LMFAO

AMY

Sexy Bitch! She's got a special appointment planned next month and she was PROPOSED to last night by her man Reggie! Looks like 2k9 is going to be a great year for her!

I knew of Amy in my late teen years, but we never spoke. It was all because of STUPID boys! Well Amy hit me up on MySpace about a year ago. After speaking I noticed we had so much in common! She was Asian and had lots of Mexican friends, I'm Mexican with a lot of Asian friends.

I haven't had a chance to hang out with her, but I bet I'll be seeing more of her this year. Amy, I'm looking forward to our friendship blosseming!

Just wanted to take the time and say Amy I'm glad you were able to find someone who loves you and your kids!

Winning Weekend

This past weekend was awesome to say the least.

Saturday, I had to work. What's new with that. It was a sunny and mild 74 degrees when I got off at 2pm. I headed home to meet with Jin and headed out to the Casino. We haven't been in a while so I guess you can say we had the itch.

Jin had his mind made up that he would play BlackJack. I on the other hand wanted to find the slot that Lindsey's always winning on. Upon our arrival I decide to stick it out and play BlackJack. We walked around trying to find "the table". We ended up at a 10$ minium double deck table. We sit down and its just Jin and I playing. I think we tend to win more often if its just us two on a table. I hate it when people jump in and out. Anywho, within the first couple of hands I can tell we picked a winner. We were only there for about 1 1/2 hrs and Jin walked out with 400$ profit and I walked out with 75$ profit.

It was a good day I must say!!

Saturday Nights/Sunday Mornings

My weekend was great! I have soo much I to talk about. I guess I should start with my shopping experience! What a fucking nightmare! I've never thought I was FAT. Could I lose a few pounds, yes. Well after my shopping fiasco you would have thought I would need to lose like 30lbs.

1st stop Guess (I went on Tuesday). I saw a bunch of super cute clothes. All of their sale items got an additional 50% off. So I'm thinking sweet! How come everything I grab is either a small or extra small. I'm thinking to myself its called Retail Therapy for a reason and I'm not feeling therapeutic!

2nd stop Bebe (I went on Tuesday). Again, lots of cute clothes, for ANOUREXIC bitches. A lot of their sale items were getting an extra % off. So, i guess if you're like a fucking size 0-3 then its your time to shop!

I couldn't take it anymore, I gave up. Then I got on the phone with my mom and balled the entire way home about how fat I was. She did what a mom is supposed to do and told me I wasn't fat.

3rd stop Guess, again (but not until Saturday)! Ended up with a pair of jeans and a top. Was I crazy about it, NO, but it did its job for me on Saturday Night. I'll have pictures up later in the post.

So, my cousin Alicia, who I haven't seen in forever went out with us. We started at Thai place and met up with Jonny and Natalie (who is super cute). Had a couple of drinks and headed towards NV. I haven't been there in a long time and now I know the reason why. We usually hang out at Mosaics. NV, NV, this club use to be a hot spot. Key word there use to. The club still looks the same, the only difference I noticed was you couldn't smoke in there anymore. Oh, and they give you these neon green wrist bands if you're VIP. Which of course is the only way I roll. LOL When I go to NV I usually expect to see a bunch of people I know. Nope, no one but I did see bunch of F.O.B's. Message me if you want to know what that means. Jin even said something to the effect of what happened to this place. The highlight of NV would be Jin losing his damn phone. I called it and someone actually pick up and then hung up on me. The next few times I tried calling back it went straight to voicemail. Fuckers had turned it off. The DJ sucked. I was expecting Shaun Flo or DJ Skies to be Djing. So we end up taking off at 2:00am and went over to Jin's cousins house (his name is also Jin, so we'll refer to him as Jin#2). Yes, the one that lives all the way out in Liberty!!!

As we're trying to find Jin#2's house and he calls me to tell me he needed to speak to his cousin. I hand the phone over. He hangs out and starts asking me how to get to his cousins house cause there's 3 "niggas" out there trying to mess with Jin#2. He starts driving erratically as I'm pointing to which street he needs to be turning at. He pulls in and gets out of the car only to find his cousin standing outside. Jin's like where they go and Jin#2 was like who? I guess Jin#2 said he had 3 deer outside his house staring him down. I'm not sure why Jin heard what he heard, but I thought it was hilarious! We always have a good time a Jin#2 house. This night was no exception. When we get there its only Jin, Jin#2, Alicia, and I. We get to drinking the bottle of Grey Goose we took from the club, I'm not ghetto I just didn't want it to go to waste! LOL I mean we did get a fuckin table, which I don't even want to get into how much actually went on my debit card! As soon as bottles start poppin' you can always count on some shirts to come off! LOL I won't say who though... At this point I can honestly say everyone’s fucked up. You want to know how I could tell? Well that's when the guys start reciting movies.

Dumb & Dumber was the main one. My Jin then goes I want to learn that dance that "Loyd" does. You know the dance when he's wearing that orangey tux and he's tap dancing. So how come I look over and my Jin is fucking tap dancing in his chucks! Too Funny. I wish I had this on video, PRICELESS! From movies they moved on to bigger and better things like, INFOMERCIALS! They went from Snuggies (I totally want one), ShamWOW, to the OxyClean. The OxyClean was brought to you by Terran. This girl took Jin#2's cream colored beanie and spilled red wine all over it. She then took out the bottle of OxyClean she brought to his house and I swear I was watching the infomercial right in front of me.

By 6:00am I'm starting to get tired and so I look over and Jin and give him the look. You know the look when you're ready to leave, but want to do it in a discreet way so they don't keep you longer! Didn't work! Jin#2 noticed and started to make deals with us. We stayed an half hour longer. As we go to leave we notice that its fucking snowing. Jins car does not do well in the snow and we were all the way out in Liberty!

We finally get home. I showered got in my warmest pjs and took my ass to bed. We got up the following day around noon, but just sat around and lounged.

My Brother Luis

I still remember the day our parents broke the news to Victor and I about Luis. I don't think we were very happy. LOL I think we had been used to it just being us two. I mean I was 7, I think it was more the feeling of having a 'rugrat' around the house.

The night my mom's water broke I had these different emotions come over me. You would have thought I was the one going in to labor. It was the middle of the night I remember because I kept trying to wake dad up to take mom to the hospital. I remember really wanting to be there, but I had to stay because Victor was still sleeping.

They came home with this little bundle of joy. He was a big boy. He ate, pooped, and slept. That all babies do! I remember Luis crying while mom was cleaning house and she told me to go pick him up and rock him. WTF?! I was super skinny and boney had no body fat what so ever. I go to pick him up and begin rocking him back to sleep. Damn, this boy was heavy! I would cry, because I knew I would be rocking him for a while. It was a workout, that's for sure.

Let me tell you about the times we'd catch him peeing on our Nintendo or Victors toys. Not so cool. LOL I hope he doesn't get mad at me for putting him out there like that! But its just too funny not to talk about it.


Growing up some of my chores would consist of ironing my families clothing. I remember leaving the iron on and our sweet Luis put his little hand on the iron! OUCH!! Of course I got in trouble because I was the oldest. My parents ended up rushing him to the hospital. He had all these little blisters on his hand. I was so scared. I though that my parents were going to kill me! But it tought me to never leave the iron on around him and he learned never to touch a hot iron.

I'll stop embarrassing him here. Ladies he is single, but there's an application process that I must to oversee before I just start handing out info!

Luis, I know we're apart, but know that my love for you will never dwindle. When I "preach" it's only because I've lived and learned.
